Sadie is a precious baby that has stolen my heart.  Her mom contacted me at around 8 months of pregnancy, as she was moving back to Arkansas. She is one of those people that I immediately connected with, and am happy to now call  her one of my dear friends! After Hollee's maternity session, we began discussing photographing her birth. She had seen Emersyn's birth on my page and was interested in me capturing Sadie's birth. Hollee was set to be induced on March 18th at around 8:00am. On the 17th I was so excited to meet Sadie, I could barely sleep! Anticipating the morning, I text Hollee that night just to see how she was feeling. Her reply is something I wish now I would have taken a photo of! She sent back "Melanie, my water broke when we got to the hospital. I am going into labor on my own!" I jumped out of bed and began to gather my things! The hospital said that in all reality, it would probably still be the morning until Hollee delivered. With this being her first baby, typically things do not move super quickly. Hollee's mom is precious and wanted me to get some rest before the big event. She  sent me a text telling me to take a little nap and relax for a bit. I could not stand the thought of missing something, so I jumped in my car and headed to Conway! My plan was actually to sleep in the car! As I was getting off of the Conway exit  I received another text from Hollee's mom that read, "SHE IS AT A 7!!!! GET HERE!" Thankfully, I was already almost there!

Miss Sadie arrived March 18th, 2013 weighing 7lbs and 3oz, at 3:46am. She was 19 3/4 inches long.
It is always a super emotional moment to be a part of when a baby is born. I am extremely humbled to be part of this amazing time in these families lives. I was a crying mess when Sadie arrived, but collected myself to capture her priceless hospital moments. Sadie was back soon for her Newborn photos, and as beautiful as ever!
Hollee, I love you and your family dearly! Thank you so much for making me part of Sadie's life. It is my honor to document her growth!
